Friday 4th June where a film of the life and poetry of AL-Hamdani called “Baghdad-Paris , A poet’s Itinerary” will be shown, produced by Emmanuele Lagrange .  This film won the prize (The Spring of Poets) . It exposes the life of our poet in exile and lets us into the world of his poetic imagination and is a film on the condition of exile and of exiles themselves. The film tends to enrich our prospective and knowledge and incites us to embark on our own personal discoveries. It is about a man who never gave up the fight and who shares his energy for life through his texts, jubilations and despair.

The film is in French and Arabic with English translation and will take 55 minutes followed by a dialogue with the poet.
